Military styles can be seen everywhere. From tops to dresses, blazers and cargos designers are loving the look of military influenced fashion and now you can rock the trend. You can wear this trend simply by wearing hues inspired by the military aka olives, khaki's, and navy hues. Strong shoulders or shoulder pads are also highly influenced by the military style. You can also try items that have embellishments of fringes along the shoulder blade for the trendiest military style. For Summer 2010 cargo shorts and capri's are perfect for showing off your legs and your love for military fashion. Come fall 2010 we'll be seeing plenty more styles that have a strong military feel. Being completely honest, I truly am not into today's pop artists and their style. I very much hate it sometimes when they are named fashion icons and/or turn into fashion designers and haven't even set foot in a design school. Ok, enough with the rant. Now this editorial has made me make an exception. The New York Times Style Magazine featured Taylor Swift in their most recent issue and I must say how impressed I am with this shoot. It was an Alice in Wonderland inspired shoot that definitely took my breath away. I must say I admire how poised, elegant and sweet she looks in every pic. I adore how the makeup looks on her and how she adds grace to everything she's wearing. She totally earns the title of fashion icon in my book.

I have been told a few million times that I cannot ever be two things at once, that I should either stick to music or fashion, because "you simply cannot love both things equally"! Boy, are they all soooo wrong! Singer/Songwriter and Accessory designer Chase Cohl has definitely taught me otherwise. This amazing artist is a sweet indie/boho musician and designer that remains true to herself and you can very much feel that in her pieces and songs. This New York Fashion Week was incredible! Ok, there were some designs that did disappoint me like Rodarte *cough cough* but overall every designer had something totally incredible to offer. Fast Forward New York Fashion Week Begins... Rodarte Proenza Schouler was just brilliant! I love Milly's Upper East Side, Gossip Girly looks. Nanette Lepore is dangerously sweet! Last week, I featured Blake Lively aka Serena's Paris fashion style for the 4th season of Gossip Girl. Today, let's find out Leighton Meester aka Blair's Parisian style. Blair Waldorf's Paris fashion style involves Oscar de la Renta amazing dresses. She wore an eyelet-trimmed, lime green jacket and shorts suit from Oscar de la Renta Spring 2010 collection. Gossip Girl's BFF Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were seen in Paris for the shooting of the tv series' 4th season. The two celebrities were spotted in their Parisian wardrobes. Blair Waldorf went for a voluminous printed Moschino frock and Serena van der Woodsen chose George Chakra couture dress. These two ladies also include two Parisian styles in their wardrobe.
