The campaign aimed to sell 12 unique backpacks that were designed by Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba and Salma Hayek. The bags will be auctioned for Children’s Defense Fund. I think R&B icon Mary J. Blige and designer Catherine Malandrino are one of the modern fairy godmothers. These two ladies seem to enjoy charitable works. Following their successful T-shirt line, Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino collaborated to create Malandrino + FFAWN clothing line. All of the proceeds were given to Blige’s FFAWN foundation (The Foundation of the Advancement of Women Now, Inc.).
